# Gas Inspection

Gas inspection using Optical Gas Imaging (OGI) enables detection and visualization of gas leaks that are invisible to the naked eye. Common applications include oil and gas facility inspections, pipeline monitoring, refinery surveys, and environmental compliance.

## Ventus OGI Payload

The Ventus OGI payload integrates a FLIR GFx320 optical gas imaging camera with a high-resolution visual camera on a stabilized gimbal for Astro.

Key capabilities:

* Real-time gas leak visualization
* High-sensitivity thermal imaging for methane and other hydrocarbon gases
* Simultaneous visual and thermal recording
* Configurable gas enhancement modes
