# ESRI ArcGIS Flight Site Scan

Astro and Alta X Gen2 are tightly integrated with ESRI's ArcGIS Flight (formerly Site Scan), a professional drone mapping and analytics platform. This integration enables an end-to-end mapping workflow from flight planning through data processing.

{% hint style="info" %}
ArcGIS Flight is an ESRI product. Visit [ESRI's ArcGIS Flight page](https://www.esri.com/en-us/arcgis/products/arcgis-flight/overview) for product information, pricing, and support.
{% endhint %}

## Integration Features

* **Direct aircraft support** - ArcGIS Flight recognizes Astro and Alta X Gen2 as supported aircraft
* **iPad connectivity** - Connect via Pilot Pro's RJ-45 ethernet port for field use
* **PPK-ready** - Process high-accuracy geotagged photos from mapping workflows

## Usage

For detailed mapping workflows including flight planning, PPK processing, and using ArcGIS Flight for post-processing, see:

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.freeflysystems.com/ecosystem/software/esri-arcgis-flight-site-scan.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
