FAA Remote Identification (RID)
Alta X Gen2 comes with Standard Remote ID built in.
Registration
Find your Remote ID Serial Number - Connect Alta X Gen2 via USB and navigate to the Settings page (10.41.1.1) - Locate the Skynode Serial Number (e.g., 132000209)
- Prefix with 18179 to get your FAA Remote ID Serial Number (e.g., 18179132000209)
Register at https://faadronezone.faa.gov - Log in or create an account - Select 'Drone Owners and Pilots Dashboard' - Select 'Manage Device Inventory' → 'Add Device'
Affix a label to your drone - Print a label indicating "FAA Standard Remote ID Compliant" - Label must be in English, legible, prominent, and permanently affixed
