## FAA Remote Identification (RID)

Alta X Gen2 comes with Standard Remote ID built in.

Registration

1. Find your Remote ID Serial Number\
   \- Connect Alta X Gen2 via USB and navigate to the Settings page (10.41.1.1)\
   \- Locate the Skynode Serial Number (e.g., 132000209)

\- Prefix with **18179** to get your FAA Remote ID Serial Number (e.g., 18179132000209)

2. Register at [https://faadronezone.faa.gov](https://faadronezone.faa.gov/)\
   \- Log in or create an account\
   \- Select 'Drone Owners and Pilots Dashboard'\
   \- Select 'Manage Device Inventory' → 'Add Device'
3. Affix a label to your drone\
   \- Print a label indicating "FAA Standard Remote ID Compliant"\
   \- Label must be in English, legible, prominent, and permanently affixed
